ISPConfig Monitor App for Android Phones
========================================
With the ISPConfig Monitor App, you can check your server status and find out if all services are running as expected. You can check TCP and UDP ports and ping your servers. In addition to that you can use this app to request details from servers that have ISPConfig installed; these details include everything you know from the Monitor module in the ISPConfig Control Panel (e.g. services, mail and system logs, mail queue, CPU and memory info, disk usage, quota, OS details, RKHunter log, etc.).

The Perfect Desktop - Linux Mint 13 XFCE
========================================
This tutorial shows how you can set up a Linux Mint 13 (Maya) desktop (with the XFCE desktop) that is a full-fledged replacement for a Windows desktop, i.e. that has all the software that people need to do the things they do on their Windows desktops. The advantages are clear: you get a secure system without DRM restrictions that works even on old hardware, and the best thing is: all software comes free of charge.

nginx: How To Block Exploits, SQL Injections, File Injections, Spam, User Agents, Etc.
======================================================================================
This short article explains how you can block the most common exploits, SQL injections, file injections, spam and user agents used by hackers and bandwidth hoggers from your nginx vhosts with some simple configuration directives. This configuration is far from being complete, but it's a good starting point. You will have to watch your logs for attempted break-in attempts and then try to modify/complete the ruleset.

Installing Apache2 With PHP5 And MySQL Support On CentOS 6.3 (LAMP)
===================================================================
LAMP is short for Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP. This tutorial shows how you can install an Apache2 webserver on a CentOS 6.3 server with PHP5 support (mod_php) and MySQL support.

Using PHP5-FPM With Apache2 On CentOS 6.3
=========================================
This tutorial shows how you can install an Apache2 webserver on a CentOS 6.3 server with PHP5 (through PHP-FPM) and MySQL support. PHP-FPM (FastCGI Process Manager) is an alternative PHP FastCGI implementation with some additional features useful for sites of any size, especially busier sites.

Installing And Using OpenVZ On CentOS 6.3
=========================================
In this HowTo I will describe how to prepare a CentOS 6.3 server for OpenVZ. With OpenVZ you can create multiple Virtual Private Servers (VPS) on the same hardware, similar to Xen and the Linux Vserver project. OpenVZ is the open-source branch of Virtuozzo, a commercial virtualization solution used by many providers that offer virtual servers. The OpenVZ kernel patch is licensed under the GPL license, and the user-level tools are under the QPL license.

Using Rex To Automate Your Datacentre
=====================================
In my day to day work I come across a lot of tasks that I actually "hate" to be honest. Most of these tasks consist of things that are repetitive and take up a lot of time. A co-worker of mine once told me, "if you have to do a task more than once, automate it!". This is one piece of advice that intrigued me. Ever since that day I have been thinking about automation and how to make processes flow smoother than they did before. But the main question always is, what tool are you going to use for that?
