ISPConfig Monitor App for Android Phones
========================================

With the ISPConfig Monitor App, you can check your server status and find out if all services are running as expected. You can check TCP and UDP ports and ping your servers. In addition to that you can use this app to request details from servers that have ISPConfig installed; these details include everything you know from the Monitor module in the ISPConfig Control Panel (e.g. services, mail and system logs, mail queue, CPU and memory info, disk usage, quota, OS details, RKHunter log, etc.).

The Perfect Server - CentOS 6.3 x86_64 (nginx, Dovecot, ISPConfig 3)

This tutorial shows how to prepare a CentOS 6.3 x86_64 server for the installation of ISPConfig 3, and how to install ISPConfig 3. ISPConfig 3 is a webhosting control panel that allows you to configure the following services through a web browser: nginx web server, Postfix mail server, MySQL, BIND nameserver, PureFTPd, SpamAssassin, ClamAV, Mailman, and many more. Since version 3.0.4, ISPConfig comes with full support for the nginx web server in addition to Apache; this tutorial covers the setup of a server that uses nginx, not Apache.

VBoxHeadless - Running Virtual Machines With VirtualBox 4.1 On A Headless Fedora 17 Server

This guide explains how you can run virtual machines with VirtualBox 4.1 on a headless Fedora 17 server. Normally you use the VirtualBox GUI to manage your virtual machines, but a server does not have a desktop environment. Fortunately, VirtualBox comes with a tool called VBoxHeadless that allows you to connect to the virtual machines over a remote desktop connection, so there's no need for the VirtualBox GUI.

Managing A Headless VirtualBox Installation With phpvirtualbox (Fedora 17)

phpvirtualbox is a web-based VirtualBox front-end written in PHP that allows you to access and control remote VirtualBox instances. It tries to resemble the VirtualBox GUI as much as possible to make work with it as easy as possible. It is a nice replacement for the VirtualBox GUI if you run VirtualBox on headless servers. This tutorial explains how to install phpvirtualbox on a Fedora 17 server to manage a locally installed, headless VirtualBox.

How To Set Up Multi-Level/Master-Slave Umbrella Network Monitoring
==================================================================

This guide provides an overview on how to set up umbrella monitoring to monitor applications and devices in distributed networks. Multiple instances of monitoring systems (in this example Verax NMS express) can be configured in a tree-like, master-slave, federated umbrella monitoring structure. This umbrella-like monitoring can be used to monitor geographically distributed networks e.g. by telecommunications operators to manage regional, state and national networks or managed service providers for managing their clients' infrastructure.

Installing mod_geoip for Apache2 On CentOS 6.3
==============================================

This guide explains how to set up mod_geoip with Apache2 on a CentOS 6.3 system. mod_geoip looks up the IP address of the client end user. This allows you to redirect or block users based on their country. You can also use this technology for your OpenX (formerly known as OpenAds or phpAdsNew) ad server to allow geo targeting.

Install Camfrogserver Advanced 6.0 On Ubuntu Linux

This is an updated tutorial on how to install Camfrog Server on Ubuntu 10.10 (Maverick Meerkat). When I first saw that Camfrog Server was released I was excited until I realized it was only for RedHat AS/ES 4.x 5.x, CentOS 4.x 5.x, Fedora 6.x 7.x 8.x operating systems. Then I realized you can convert rpm packages to deb packages using alien; you can even have alien install the rpm automatically after converting it.
